Pasadena had a special night yesterday.  American Idol was in town for a star-studded extravaganza dedicated to raising awareness of extreme poverty in the United States and throughout the world.

Unfortunately, I was not one of the lucky ones to attend this event.  However, I did catch a glimpse driving down Fair Oaks Blvd today.  Take a look:

I am sure eyebrows were raised as to why a crazy woman with a camera was frantically trying to take a shot of this, but all I can say is that it’s fun to capture these funky moments Pasadena is so well known for.

Pasadena California is no stranger to filming and special events. Ann Erdman, Pasadena’s Public Information Officer (PIO), had a post on her blog talking about the different filming activities around town.
