I found this video thanks to John Haydon. This is a Ukrainian artist who works with sand. Here, Kseniya Simonova – a Ukrainian Got Talent 2009 winner, tells the story of World War II.
The songs are in Russian. First, you hear an announcement that a war has been declared. The first song is about the loneliness of soldiers on the battle field.. The next one is about soldiers that never came home and became birds flying over the land.
Finally, the parting words in the video say – “You are always in my heart, next to me.”
Hope you enjoy!
