As summer starts to approach, we start hearing about events and activities taking place all over Pasadena. From day activities for kids who will be on vacation to summer camps and summer concerts. Well everyone… here is another event to add onto the endless list of “Things to do This Summer in Pasadena California.”
On May 25th 2013, Pasadena will be hosting their 19th Annual Family Fun Day. This afternoon event will have fun activities for all ages. There will be face painting, arts and crafts, and balloon bounces for kids. There will also be a Fitness Zone for those looking at getting into a more active lifestyle. The Fitness Zone will be a fun way to engage in a variety of activities which include basketball tournaments, skating, water park and for all the dancers out there, yes.. there will all be a Move your Body dance off as well.
The main focus on this years’ event will be on our First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Lets Move” campaign. For those not aware of this campaign, it encourages communities to come together and live a more active and healthier life. This is an amazing way to incorporate exercise and to have fun without the nagging thought of it being tough and tiring.
