Duarte is a small city in Los Angeles, California home to roughly 21,000 residents. It is located on the U.S. Route 66, once famously known as “the Main Street of America,” originally being a highway that ran from Chicago, Illinois through Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona before reaching the golden state of California! Every year during the third weekend of September, the town hosts a celebration of the U.S. Route 66 following Huntington Drive through the middle of the Duarte.

The baklava has a nice crunchy exterior and a surprise of delicious rosewater flavoring in the inside. The owner is very nice and friendly and tends to offer generous samples!
