It’s not every day that six museums in Pasadena and Los Angeles open their doors for a free day of architecture, art, family fun and exploration! It only happens once a year and it’s coming up on May 17th.
Learn Victorian dances, make adobe bricks, check out a Civil War encampment, climb into a retired LAPD helicopter, attend a Rancho fashion show and discover what continues to make the Arroyo Seco a bustling, vibrant arts-driven community that crosses neighborhoods and social boundaries.
Satisfy your cravings for home made cookies and ice cream by visiting Paradise Food Truck which will be parked in front of the Pasadena Museum of History. You can visit one museum or see all four by jumping on the free shuttle.
Free shuttle service connects all museums: The Gamble House, Heritage Square, Los Angeles Police Museum, Lummis Home, Pasadena Museum of History and the Southwest Museum. Noon – 5pm, last entrance at 4pm.
Explore great architecture, historical discoveries, family fun and entertainment at six local museums all for free at Museums of the Arroyo (MOTA) Day on May 17, 2015.
