For all you art & music enthusiasts out there, pay attention! Over 20 of Pasadena’s prestigious arts and cultural institutions will be opening their doors for an entire evening on October 9. The best part…it’s free. Experience New Orleans style dance party on the plaza of the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, enjoy classical music at the Pasadena Central Library, see imaginative landscape drawings at the Pasadena City Collage and contemporary ceramics at the USC Asia Museum…the list goes on.
There are plenty transportation options. Free shuttle buses stopping at each venue, will be available throughout the event. You can also jump on the ARTS bus Route 10 running along Colorado Blvd and Green St until 8 pm. The Metro Gold Line to Memorial Park Station is also an alternative…psst...free stuff for those showing a valid TAP card, Metro employee ID, or LA County employee ID at designated sites.
No need to worry about getting hungry during this four hour event. Some of LA County’s best food trucks, such as Pie ‘n Burger and Slammin’ Sliders will be available and 10% of the proceeds will go to supporting future ArtNights.
