Discover the history of Old Pasadena this Saturday morning, Feb 6 at 9am, by joining the Pasadena Heritage for a walk tour. If you already have plans, no worries! This tour is held on the first Saturday of each month, except July and November, throughout the year.
Pasadena Heritage works to protect and preserve the architectural and cultural resources of Pasadena. During the tour, trained docents will point out the many amazing details in the Old Town area, that could easily be missed by the untrained eye. Had it not been for the work of Pasadena Heritage this area could have been lost today due to its decline in 1930 to 1980. Founded 37 years ago, Old Town has transformed into the commercial heart of Pasadena, with its many restaurants, museums and shops. Many of the buildings also have offices and apartments on the upper floors. In 1983 Old Town was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. So much history and so many sights to see.
