As usual, Pasadena events overbooked themselves on top of each other.
Here’s a few events just happening this afternoon and tonite. Try to make them all tonite – I dare you!
Designer Con at the Pasadena Convention Center.
I have some artsy friends going to this. Saturday & Sunday. Good, ‘cuz I can only do it, barely, on Sunday!

Art on the Stairwell Opening/Reception at Vroman’s Bookshop
For artist Lisa Saint. This latest art series featured here is Jazz: Flying Home, a celebration of this rich American music tradition. I actually made it to this – one down! It may be too late for you but you can still view the art for at least a couple of months.
Vroman’s Bookshop, 695 E. Colorado Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91101
More info: Lisa Saint on the Vroman’s Stairwell.
Sean’s Eye-View at the Walt Girdner Photo Studio & Gallery
This was so popular last Saturday that they’re having a 2nd opening reception tonite. That’s fine with me because I was so busy last Saturday I couldn’t make it, which is rare. Not that this Saturday is any easier for me! 6-9pm.
Walt Girdner Photo Studio & Gallery, 27 South El Molino Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101

I understand if you can’t make all of these creative/artsy events tonight. But, they’ll all be available for viewing weeks after tonite except for Designer Con which closes on Sunday.
