Cooking class anyone?
Day 83 of 365 things to do in Pasadena™ sends you to brush up on your culinary skills at The Arboretum just a teeny bit East of Pasadena in Arcadia.
Now, I know you’ve heard us speak on more than one occasion about the delightful chopped antipasto salad offered by Gale’s restaurant here in Pasadena.
Here is your opportunity to meet its maker!
The dynamic duo Gale Kohl, owner of Gale’s Restaurant and Claud Beltran, chef of Noir Food & Wine are teaming up to offer you a afternoon of culinary bliss.
Together, they will be offering you the first ever cooking class to incorporate the food harvested fresh from the organic vegetable garden at the Arboretum.
These lovely veggies have been planted and nurtured by the Arboretum permaculturist Catlin Bergman. Gail and Claude gave her their list of requests and she made all the magic happen!
You’ll be sure to enjoy an afternoon of fun and flavor, we hear there is even a BBQ dish on the menu!
Sign up now! Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
Cooking at the Arboretum will take place Wednesday, September 15th from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Cost is $45 for members and $50 for non-members
