Pasadena Views real estate team had an excursion to Old Pasadena and decided to try a new restaurant for lunch. City Thai in Old Pasadena looked very appealing in this strange and overcast California day. Conveniently located on the corner of Green Street and two public parking structures with 90 minutes free parking, City Thai welcomed us with plenty of window tables available.
The interior was clean and modern and the menu quite extensive and very inexpensive for lunch. A nice selection of different noodles and we pretty much tried one of each from Pad Thai (rice noodles) to Pad See Ew and spicy Pad Kee Mao (both dishes with flat noodles), various curry dishes, stir fry and wok fried rice.
Lunch is around $6.95 and that includes soup. The soup was surprisingly delicious – a bit on the sweet side, but smooth and flavorful. Overall, a great place to stop by for lunch and a nice inclusion to our 365 Things To Do In Pasadena.
