Make Music Pasadena 2011 is taking place Saturday, June 18th.
“What’s impressive about the annual Make Music Pasadena is how many fans the festival is serving over one day. With dozens upon dozens of performances scattered around multiple venues, the free, all-ages shows is featuring artists with impressive resumés.
“The streets of Pasadena will erupt with sound over a 12-hour stretch this Saturday. The musical acts will be performed on themed stages, inside area businesses and cultural institutions, at outdoor courtyards, at least one alleyway and even aboard some city ARTS buses!” – Reviews from the L.A. My #1 pick of the day is La Santa Cecilia. If you get the chance to stop by the Luckman “world music” stage, check them out.
I got to see them perform when they opened for Ozomatli during a concert celebrating their quinceneara! 😉
