No plans tomorrow evening? Here’s what you can do: Head over to Old Town Pasadena and enjoy sample bites of the 25 plus, award winning restaurants participating in the 108th annual Pasadena-Foothill Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation event.
Not only will you be able to indulge during this self-guided walk tour, but you’ll contribute to supporting local charities. Signs will be placed around Old Town to guide you, but you can always pick up a map from any of the restaurants, Slater’s 50/50, The pie Hole and Cafe Santorini, to mention a few, that are included in this event.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the many tables that will be set up around Colorado Blvd. This is perfect opportunity to try the many restaurants, to familiarize yourself with the heart of Pasadena and to give back to the community.
The Charitable Foundation mission is: “to support local charities actively involved in our community though financial donations with a special emphasis on charities that have low administrative overhead and focus on disadvantaged and needy populations; to foster tomorrow’s leaders by providing scholarships to graduating high school students; and to promote public awareness of the positive impact that Realtors make within our community.”
The foundation raises between $10,000-$20,000 each year and supports charities in the San Gabriel Valley.
