Day 36 of 365 Things to do in Pasadena™ invites us to a summer kick off celebration!
Pasadena POPS, Pasadena Star news and Rose Magazine invite YOU to attend a very special free celebration taking place today, Friday June 18th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on the lawn adjacent to the Rose Bowl.
This spectacular celebration will give you the opportunity to be one of the first to experience the Pasadena POPS new sunny days venue. Formerly housed at the Descanso Gardens, POPS is celebrating their homecoming into the heart of Pasadena. This new venue will be constructed for each event in their summertime 2010 concert series. This is also a kick-off party for ROSE Magazine’s summer dinning and entertainment issue. The 5:00-7:00 p.m. celebration is for guest 21 and over please, beer and wine will be available for sale.
Following the celebration, at 7:30 p.m. guests of all ages are welcome to attend the working rehearsal for the inaugural performance of the Pasadena POPS 2010 Summer Season. We don’t think you would want to miss out on this sneak peak opportunity. How better to spend a warm Southern California night that under the stars with live entertainment?
The new venue and season officially opens June 19th with Fireworks POPS Spectacular Featuring guest artists Cirque de la Symphonie.
