Day 44 of 365: Get your bike out!
Let’s get that dusty bike out of the garage and on the open road!
It’s time for you to meet up with the Foothill Cycle Club of San Gabriel Valley. They are an all volunteer recreational bike club that organizes weekend rides and weekday training rides throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
These rides are not for the faint of heart…most of the Saturday morning rides range from 29-40 miles and include flat and hilly terrain. There are usually 2 different rides on Sunday which offer a moderate or easier pace. The fun part is, their bike routes always feature a tasty bakery or brunch spot to test out and you get to indulge a little since you’ve cycled so hard to get there!
Are you up for the challenge? If so, and you are looking into getting yourself involved with cycling on a regular basis, then you most certainly want to consider a membership with the Foothill Cycle Club of San Gabriel Valley.
Looking for a more leisurely way to enjoy your bike? Take a look at what our PasadenaViews team encountered as we road the bike trail through Surf City California. We enjoyed the coastal view, warm sun, unique shops & vendors, and the tempting restaurants. It’s enough to make anybody climb on a bike a cruise the town!
Do you have a favorite bike trail YOU would like to share with us?
