If you are visiting Pasadena and you want an amazing salad and zuchini bread, Green Street Restaurant in the South Lake District is the place to be. So, day 70 of 365 Things To Do In Pasadena™ is dedicated to these tasty treats.
Green Street Restaurant is located on Shopper’s Lane behind The Commons courtyard where William-Sonoma is located and just a few steps from Smitty’s Grill, our day 31.
When I visit Green Street with my friends, there are always varying opinions about which salad is best since they are all so good. However, one of the favorites seems to be the Dianne Salad which has chicken, crispy asian noodles, toasted almonds and lettuce, all tossed with their special dressing.
Cornucopia salad with featuring greens with chicken breast, avocado, raisins, dried cranberries, apples, mandarin oranges, green onions, toasted almonds and blue cheese crumble, all with the citrus blue cheese vinaigrette seems to be the 2nd runner up amongst my friends.
I, personally, prefer their barbequed chicken quesadillas… always hit the spot with me.
However, there’s no arguing over zucchini bread. It is always moist and perfect with or without butter.
Have you been to the Green Street Restaurant? If so, what is your favorite salad or dish?
