October Festivals!
Today, we take a little break from the Spooks and Chills of this Halloween month and settle into a few light-hearted and high spirited celebrations that are taking place around the city of roses.
Day 142 of 365 things to do in Pasadena focuses on the October Festivals!
Starting off, we visit the Eagle Rock Music Festival:
Taking place Saturday, October 2nd 4:00 p.m -11:00 p.m
On Colorado Blvd. in Between Eagle Rock Blvd. and Argus
The Eagle Rock Music festival is non-profit community street festival produced by the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock . Enjoy an evening of music with more than 16 unique venues hosting local acts of all genres! There will be Latin, Zydeco, Rock, Punk, and Gospel just name a few. The event is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. There will be free parking and shuttle service from the Eagle Rock Plaza. The 33rd Annual Montrose Oktoberfest:
Also held Saturday, October 2nd from Noon-11:00 p.m.
Visit the 2300 and 2400 Blocks of Honolulu Ave., in Montrose this Saturday and Celebrate Oktoberfest at this annual street fair extravaganza! There will be German bands, dancing, game booths, bingo, carnival rides and more. There will also be an amateur talent contest, best dressed dog & best dressed Bavarian costume contests and authentic German bratwurst, sauerkraut,strudel and a variety of delicious snacks, soft drinks and beer. Pasadena Wine Festival:
We know YOU, our faithful followers, wouldn’t forget about our Day 116 The Pasadena Wine Festival. Taking place October 9th from 2:00 – 10:00 at the L.A. Arboretum. That was your friendly reminder just in case.
