Pasadena is known for the many antique shops lining the Fair Oaks corridor, as well as the Flea Market at both the Rose Bowl and PCC. One of the largest is the Pasadena Antique Center and Annex right next to Gale’s restaurant, and across the street from our real estate office, offers 130 dealers and over 33,000 square feet of exploration for those of us that are looking for vintage classics.
You will find anything from jewelry, art, rare books dating from the turn of the century through mid-century and even furniture! On a recent trip, we picked up a world globe so that we can track all the place we visited with our kids. Not an antique, but a fun find!
The 2-story Mission style, building has all the romance of antiquing. It is offset with that quintessential antique store smell and the old-fashioned music playing throughout the store. The prices are fair and the thrill of the hunt is great!
Go out and explore and let me know what you think!
Oh… and if you’re hungry… stop on by Gale‘s and order their Antipasto Salad. You will not be sorry!
