Ok all you Dog Lovers…we’ve found a fancy little way for you to treat the favorite four legged  fur ball in your life.

Yes, we are talking about your dog! 😉

The next time you happen to be cruising the Old Colorado Boulevard, day 185 of 365 Things To Do in Pasadena invites you to follow your scent to the Three Dogs Bakery.

This bakery is definitely the ultimate doggies dream come true! They have pupcakes, celebration cakes, s’mores and a variety of other delightful treats for you to spoil your favorite pups with.

The ingredients for all of  their treats are their in-house pet foods and are all natural!

For example, they make their peanut butter for their dog treats 100% from whole peanuts. No additives, no sweeteners just good old-fashioned crushed peanuts for your pets to enjoy both its tastiness and health benefits, and they love it! You will see tails wagging to no end! They also use apples, blueberries,cranberries, charob(which is what looks like chocolate), canola-oil, and wheat for their products just to name a few.

Now, I know these ingredients are things that we would find in our very own kitchens but remember, these treats are NOT made for human consumption! 😉

While I was with the rest of the 365 Things To Do in Pasadena Team on the Old Pasadena Walking Food Tour, I was on the hunt for this dog shop! I had heard of it and I just had to pop in and snag a little something special for my little monster Gus-Gus.

Three Dogs Bakery got started back in 1989. It all came together when three dogs, two guys, and one $0.59 biscuit cutter joined forces. The founders believe in feeding their dogs the same way they feed their families; with wholesome nutritional food.

That is exactly what you find as you enter this quaint little bakery. There are rows of their all-natural, oven-baked dog foods, and  they have a sweet case filed with yummy little snacks and desserts to take home. You can also pre-order a specially made dog bone cake, complete with your dog’s name written on top.

So, if you happen to take a visit to The Equator Cafe pop in the Three Dogs Bakery right across the way. Your doggie will be happy you did!
