Keeping in tune with our chili and burgers theme, I had to share with you another old favorite of mine.
Day 263 of 365 Things To Do in Pasadena sends you and your taste buds to Wolfe Burgers.
Funny how this happened, but my Wolfe Burger trips always took place on rainy days. A very good high school friend and I always seemed to end up thereĀ after school. We would usually end up sharing a delicious plate of chili fries.
Yesterdays cold rainy day had me reminiscing of those warm yummy chili fries. š
Have you visited Wolfe Burger’s?
Not only do I enjoy it when I pop in, but one yelper had some very positive things to say about this Pasadena burger joint.
The chili cheese fries were made using fresh cut potatoes (skins still on!) and a generous portion of chili. Ā They were topped with red pepper flakes, green onions and two shredded cheeses. There was so much chili on the fries that they buckled under the weight of the meaty goodness. I’d definitely come back again for these, only I’d couple them with a beer.
Our burger combo was just as tasty and large. Two patties and a slab of cheddar which we got to dress over at the condiments corner with fresh sliced onions, pickles and 1000 island dressing. A giant sloppy burger with a basket of those fresh cut fries. Coupled with the chili fries, it was a very heavy meal to have after 9, for sure, but it was so yummy and hit the spot. –Information provided by Yelp–
Their menu has grown since my last visit. I’m hearing that the breakfast burrito is a delicious choice for a morning visit.
