Yes! It’s that time of the year again! Time to get together, enjoy a bbq or picnic with your loved once and I’m sure you are all looking forward to the 4th of July fireworks! The Pasadena Views Real Estate Team wanted to make it easy for all our readers so we put together a list of all the places and times for firework displays in our area.
The Rose Bowl in Pasadena
Come and enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in Southern California – the 88th Annual 4th of July celebration at Rose Bowl – Americafest 2014
This year you definitely don’t want to miss the Grammy-nominated Liverpool Legends “The Ultimate Beatles Experience” brought to you by Louise Harrison, sister of the former Beatles’ member George Harrison. They are celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles invasion in the U.S.
The firework display is the work of the world renowned Pyro Spectaculars also known for their displays at the NFL Super Bowls and the Olympic games.
The Rose Bowl Americafest starts at 2.00 pm and welcomes everyone to celebrate our Independence Day with entertainment, food vendors, crafts and inflatable rides for the children. The opening ceremony begins at 7.00 pm.
Schedule of Events
2:00 p.m. – Festival begins outside the stadium with food & games for kids on Area H
7:00 p.m. – Musical performances by Liverpool Legends and Teen Idol Ian Thomas and live motorcycle stunts.
9:00 p.m. – The spectacular Firework Show and the largest in Southern California, produced by PyroSpectacular by Souza

Parking
Parking is $25 per car – pay at the parking lots.
Advanced parking is $20 per car – this is available at the Rose Bowl Stadium ticket booth near Gate B starting Saturday, June 28, everyday through July 3, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Parking lots will open to the general public starting at 9:00 am on July 4. Guests will be directed to the closest available lot.

South Pasadena
Enjoy a colorful 4th July celebration in South Pasadena including their Festival of Balloons and Fireworks show. The festivities will be held at South Pasadena High School’s stadium and gates open at 5.30 pm. There will be plenty of fun activities for the kids, food vendors and live music.
Tickets: Pancake Breakfast $7 (kids under 6 years free) and for Fireworks $7

- 10:30am – Opening Ceremonies
- 11am – Parade, starting at the corner of Diamond Avenue and Mission Street

Almansor Park in Alhambra
Enjoy the 4th July Celebrations at Almansor Park in Alhambra! It will be yet another year of extravagant firework displays and fun for the whole family! There will be lots of food vendors to try and you can of course bring a picnic basket with you favorite foods and snacks! The firework shows starts at 9:00 pm and admission is free!

Rosemead Park
Rosemead will once again bring you their spectacular 4th July parade starting at Valley and Bartlett Avenue and ending at Rosemead Park. There will of course be something fun for the whole family including music, food, carnival rides and the grand finale of the 4th of July firework display!
It is free to attend the event and you can buy wristbands for the carnival rides at the Park.

Edgewood Middle School in West Covina
Why only celebrate our independence day for one day when you can celebrate for two? On July 3 and 4 Covina is welcoming you all to their festivities at Edgewood Middle School. It’s going to be a fun day for the whole family including food stands, carnival rides and games. All the proceeds goes to the West Covina Muscular Dystrophy Association. Start off this 2-day celebration on the Thursday July 3rd with the gates opening up to the carnival from 4pm. The following day will begin with a Pancake breakfast at Hurst Ranch from 8am-11am. For $5 you will get pancakes, sausage, juice, milk and coffee. There’s a $1 entrance fee beginning at 3.00 pm and the fireworks starts at 9.00 pm.

Bonita High School in Lavern
If you are celebrating 4th of July in Laverne you will be happy to find a full day of fun activities in the city throughout the day. Here are few of the activities:
6.30am – 11.00am: The Famous Pancake breakfast hosted by the Boy Scouts in the Methodist Church parking lot (3505 “D” Street, La Verne, CA 91750). For $5 you will get 3 pancakes and 3 sausages
9.40am: The pre-parade Motorcycle Salute with 200 motorcycles riding along carrying flags representing the United States.
10.00am: The famous “Star Spangled Banner” parade will go through Laverne’s Old Town.
6.00 pm: Start of the Firework show at Bonita High School, 3102 “D” Street, La Verne, CA 91750.
Admission: $7 – adults (13 & up); $6 – children (5 to 12); Children 4 and under are free

The Hollywood Bowl
This year’s annual Hollywood Bowl 4th of July Party will welcome no other than the brilliant Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. There will also be music performed by the U.S. Air Force band of the Golden West. The night will of course be end with the magnificent and much anticipated firework display! The show starts at 7.30pm.

The Fairplex of Pomona
Celebrate the 4th of July at KABOOM! with Monster trucks, monster motoX, live entertainment and grand finale of the spectacular 4th of July fireworks display. It’s a night you don’t want to miss and the whole family will love it! Gates open at 5pm and the celebration entertainment starts at 8.00pm. Buffet dinners are served from 5pm to 9pm.

San Marino – Lacy Park Fireworks
It’s going to be a magnificent celebration so don’t get there late! Pack up your blankets and lawn chairs and make sure to find a favorite spot at Lacy Park to enjoy the entertainment, parade and fireworks! Guests may reserve areas with blankets and chairs. There will be a family fun zone, the Rotary Club Parade and of course the breathtaking fireworks at the end of the night!
The Virginia Road entrance to Lacy Park will open at 8 a.m and you MUST wear a wristband to enter. No entrance will be allowed via St. Albans Road until 3 pm.
ALL wristbands purchased on the Fourth of July are $20 each (for residents and non-residents). Pre-purchased wristbands cost $5 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Children 2 and under are free.
