One Colorado’s fun and free concert series with the up and coming music artist in the country is around the corner. In past local artists have been chosen. This year artists from all over the country are performing.
First out on Aug 6, is NY based singer-songer Ari Hest. With a total of eight albums released Ari’s soothing voice and heartfelt pop-rock-acoustic music will surely capture you.
Second artist out, on Aug 13 is San Francisco based singer/songwriter Rivvrs who blends folk, pop and soul and delivers it with a “tamed rasp that hovers between a soft whisper and a booming roar”. Check out his EP on iTunes!
Enjoy a third concert on Aug 20th, with the LA – based duo Jim and Sam who will bring their amazing on-stage chemistry to Pasadena. They are currently working on the follow-up to their debut EP, “This Is What’s Left” due Fall 2016.
Lastly on Aug 27, Night Lights sound eclecticism is on par with the ethno-diversity of its members. The NL guys are from a globe-spin of countries, including Mexico, Japan, Norway and our Golden State. They have a unique indie-rock sound with a soul influence, balancing profound lyrics with hooky melodies and harmonic progressions. Their song, “Childish,” made its way into the Viral 50 Global and Viral 50 US Spotify charts with over 300,000 plays. Night Lights recently released their latest EP, titled Expectations.
Seating will be limited but standing and dancing is strongly encouraged. Have fun out there!
