Living in Los Angeles County and have household waste that you’re not sure what to do with?? Well then start collecting that waste and bring it to Rose Bowl Parking Lot on June 18, between 9 am and 3 pm. This your chance to get rid of items such as motor oil, oil filters, antifreeze, automobile and household batteries, paint, brake fluid, paint thinner, cleaners with acid or lye, pesticides or herbicides, expired pharmaceuticals and fluorescent light bulbs, all for free!
Electronic items include computers, keyboards, printers, monitors, laptops, docking stations, scanners, shredders, fax machines, computer mice, telephones, televisions, flat screens, VCRs, DVD players, PDAs, cassette players, tape drives, stereos and household batteries. Many of these products have parts that can be recycled.
You are allowed a maximum of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of household hazardous waste and unlimited amount of electronic waste that you can recycle.
No explosives, radioactive materials, trash and tires, controlled substances and household appliances are allowed. There will be no paper shredding as well.
