Looking for a trendy and friendly espresso bar? Looking for a caffeine injection with a name like honeybee latte and French lavender breve? If so, this is a perfect spot. Located on the corner of Washington and Hill, this is truly a great addition to Pasadena’s bevy of coffee shops.
From seasonal to hot and cold drinks, pastries from a local bakery, toasts with various nutella/fruit combinations, this is a fun and friendly coffee shop and from the number of customers partaking seems to be clearly creating a name for itself as a neighborhood hangout.
Parking is easy, what a surprise for Pasadena! And… there’s a really nice outdoor side patio and a few tables in front of the store, as well.
I tried the French lavender breve, light on the sweets please, and was surprised by the fragrant, smooth taste. It was served in a mug, kudos to the barista for offering without asking, and was prepared at a perfect temperature with a beautiful design. Loved it! The small size was perfect.
From friendly staff to a cool environment, it’s definitely a new coffee shop, oops… espresso bar, worth checking out as part of the 365 Things To Do In Pasadena®. 🙂
