Saturday, October 9th from 4 pm to 7 pm takes us to Day 132 of 365 Things To Do In Pasadena. It is the day to attend the 5th Annual Sierra Madre Wine Jazz Walk. It will be held in the quaint Sierra Madre downtown village at Baldwin and Sierra Madre Boulevard and will benefit the City of Hope.
City of Hope, located in Duarte California, is recognized worldwide for its compassionate patient care, innovative science and translation research, which rapidly turns laboratory breakthroughs into promising new therapies for cancer patients.
Not only will you be able to stroll through the historic Sierra Madre downtown and browse unique local shops, but you will have an opportunity to listen to delightful jazz bands playing on various stages throughout the village and partake in award-winning wines and local cuisine.
There will also be a silent auction including tickets to this year’s Rose Parade, Spa Certificates, Dodger and USC game tickets, patio furniture and so much more. You an see the full auction list here. The Silent Auction will be located on Sierra Madre Blvd. near Kersting Court, and will close at 7:15pm. Winners will be notified by phone if not present.
Last year over 1,100 people attended and raised over $85,000!

Individual tickets are only $40 each in advance ($50 day of) and each participant will receive a commemorative wine glass, 10 wine tasting tickets and other fabulous items!
The Wine & Jazz Walk will once again feature the San Antonio Winery VIP Wine Garden, open from 6:30 to 9 p.m. For an additional $35, guests will have access to this private area located in Kersting Court, featuring premium wine, fantastic food and more surprises!
